Comments: The comment that these run 1/2 size large certainly wasn't my experience. They are quite narrow compared to the Ultrascendor 1 and definitely not longer than usual.

Comments: I was looking for a lighter alternative to the Asics Challenger 8 and found it with the Ultrascendor II. It's a stable shoe throughout unlike the Challenger which has the loose heel issue. Lateral support is very good as I've never slipped, or rolled an ankle for felt unstable at all at the baseline. There is good flex in the shoe for moving forward for volleys. The cushioning is much better than I anticipated and is just as good as some of the heavier, high end Asics and Nike's I've worn (Resolutions, 2K10, etc). Durability is fine, I've had them for 4 months and I don't skid around the court like Nadal or Monfils.

Comments: Since the Wilson Tour Open was discontinued, I've been trying to find a replacement. This one is better than the others I've tried so far (though I'm still open to ideas). I supinate and have a neuroma problem that kicks in after about 40 minutes on the court, but this shoe has made tennis more enjoyable.
